Brand Keys is a research consultancy that specializes in uncovering what makes customer loyalty happen. Yesterday they published a brand values survey that ranked brands associated with the value of “patriotism.” I found this to be a fascinating study. This was part of a study where consumers evaluated 35 emotional engagement values. Strong brand value is driven by the ability to leverage emotional engagement. This week we will be exposed to a ton of advertising where brands attempt to leverage patriotic themes as a way of separating us from our money.
I thought I would share this list with you. A short read before the long weekend. Google, Amazon and Apple are notably absent from the top 10 list.
